Closer app, developed by IEuD, an Addiction Treatment Institute, aims to support patients in achieving a drug-free life. The project involves designing a mobile app for patients and a corresponding back-end platform for doctors and medical staff.
Objectives
Facilitate seamless communication between healthcare facilities, psychotherapists, and patients.
Enable doctors to upload resources, prescribe medications, and monitor patient progress.
Empower patients to log activities, track medications, monitor general well-being, report relapses, and visualize their healing path.
Context
Closer addresses the need for enhanced patient engagement and effective therapeutic support. It serves as a valuable tool to strengthen the bond between patients and their Care Team, facilitating ongoing communication and providing consistent support and motivation during the entire treatment journey. Instead of being a standalone application, CLOSER is designed to fulfill the essential purpose of fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for patients and therapists alike.
